Pricing

Clear prices need clear assumptions.

A solar quote is not one product with one price. Roof shape, scaffolding, battery size, electrical work and hardware choices all move the number. Worpra quotes are fixed and itemised after survey.

What moves price

The same system size can still quote differently.

Roof and access

Tile type, roof height, scaffolding, cable routes and safe access can change the labour and equipment needed.

Battery capacity

More kWh is not automatically better. A larger battery only helps if your usage pattern cycles it often enough.

Electrical work

Consumer-unit condition, isolation, earthing and DNO requirements are checked before the quote is fixed.

Hardware ecosystem

Worpra standardises around systems that can be inspected, supported and connected to battery earnings routes.

Survey findings

Shading, roof condition and meter setup can change both the cost and the likely savings.

0% VAT window

Domestic solar and battery installs are currently 0% VAT until 31 March 2027.

How to compare quotes

Ask what is included before asking who is cheapest.

A useful quote should show hardware, installation, scaffolding, electrical work, paperwork, monitoring setup, aftercare and any assumptions behind savings or payback.

Worpra's calculator gives the first estimate. The final quote is fixed after survey, because a careful survey is what stops surprises later.
